Who hasn’t experienced hearing their pet dog’s distinct scratching at the door to tell us, owners, that it is time for them to go outside? For many dog owners, this is an everyday event which they have become used to hearing.
While many do not like that sound, other dog owners take this as a sign to go out and take a stroll through the neighborhood or to go to the local park. After all, the fresh air does do wonders for one’s soul and health.
A group of Corgis was finally able to get out of their house and go for a walk. Their destination was the riverbank and as soon as they got there, these Corgis wasted no time and started to have fun. They are always up to go for a stroll outdoors, and if they were already roaming in parks, how much more fun they could have if they were taken to a large open space with water nearby?
Even though they live next to a river, one of the corgis could not resist the temptation to swim in it. While the other dogs stayed out of the refreshing lake, one of their friends decided to paddle around in it. This corgi definitely loves the water.
They all eventually decided to join their companion. And even though they looked like wet, muddy rugs after their plunge in the water, they couldn’t care less about their appearance.
What dog owner wouldn’t want to watch their pets behave in such a way? We surely would, and we would seize the opportunity without any hesitation.
Who knows when these canines will once again be so carefree and playful? This riverside stroll seems to have done them a world of good.
The responsibility of a human family for their pets includes making sure that they remain active. It melts our stone hearts to see them so happy outdoors, as they should be.
