This Pit Bull Makes Noises Similar To A Wookie And Her Owners Love It

Paquita Gillis February 7, 2022

A lot of pets can have quirks that prove to be entertaining for their owners. Some owners love these quirks so much that they want to let other people know and enjoy them too. This is why the owner of a pit bull named Shortcake decided to share her story.

Shortcake is described as a very snorty dog. She likes to snort when she’s excited. She loves getting pets so much that she makes noises when the petting stops.

There’s one particular noise that Shortcake’s owners love hearing. The noise is similar to what a Wookie would make, a fictional creature from the Star Wars franchise. Shortcake’s owners never get tired of it, and they’ve also found a way to predict when it happens.

Shortcake’s owner would often make the same noises to egg her on. This would often result in a noise contest. Of course, Shortcake won’t let her owners outdo her when it comes to making Wookie noises.

One day the family noticed something was wrong with Shortcake. She wasn’t walking properly, and her demeanor was far from her usual bubbly self. They soon found out that this was a symptom of the nerve damage on her neck. This was something that she had when she was adopted but never really affected her until that moment.

The owners got an emergency appointment for Shortcake’s neurologist. Not long after that, surgery was performed on her. The owners didn’t know what to expect since Shortcake was hardly changed two weeks after the surgery.

Shortcake continued to get physical therapy twice a week. There were small improvements to her movements. Eventually, the day came when shortcake was able to stand up again. This made her owners very emotional.

Shortcake was finally able to regain her energy and the enthusiasm she once had. She was able to make the noise that everyone loved her for. Her owners were happy to see her return to her optimal state.
