This Nosy Dog Is Always Welcomed By His Neighbor And Treats Him Like He Is A Part Of Their Family

This Nosy Dog Is Always Welcomed By His Neighbor And Treats Him Like He Is A Part Of Their Family

Paquita Gillis October 10, 2021

Neighbors who keep their noses in everybody’s business and just chimes in without an ounce of thought can be very annoying. And no one would ever want to have a neighbor like that. Except if those nosy neighbors are dogs just like 14-year-old Oliver the Golden Retriever.

Oliver has been like this ever since he was little. He’s always looking for adventure and loves being independent. He even got his own schedule and he never forgets to stick to it. Although one might think that his owners are too carefree and lazy to let him wander around all on his own, they actually make sure to watch over him so that he is always safe.

They even put a GPS tracker on him at one point to track where he was going so as not to dampen his adventurous spirit. They also know that no matter whose house Oliver spends his days with, he’ll always come home when it’s time. Plus, his walks are very good exercise for him and keeping him as healthy as possible, especially as he ages.

Oliver’s adventure destination has now become the house of their neighbor dog mom, Melissa. He would pop up in the morning and hold his head up at Melissa’s gate. He just goes there every day at the same time to walk, play, and sometimes join any event they do. And he always comes in like he’s a part of their family.

True enough, Melissa and her family embraced Oliver as their own.

At Oliver’s age, just having a place to still go to and recreate the feeling of venturing outside while still being independent is what he needed. Melissa and her family are just happy that they are able to provide it for him. They cherish Oliver throughout the day because there’s the time when Oliver goes home.
