Dog Stops Owner From Leaving By Showing His “Sad Puppy Eyes”

Dog Stops Owner From Leaving By Showing His “Sad Puppy Eyes”

Paquita Gillis October 15, 2020

Are you familiar with the expression “sad puppy eyes?” It’s the oldest trick in the book, but it somehow works every time someone tries to do it to us. There’s just no saying no to it, especially if the doer of the action is an adorable fluff ball.

This is something that Teemo, a beautiful four-legged pup from Taiwan, knows all too well. He’s quite the charmer, but that’s not the reason why he recently made rounds online. Apparently, he also knows how to put his good looks, especially his “puppy eyes,” to good use!

The master manipulator

If there’s one person that Teemo loves more than anyone else in the world, it’s his owner. Well, for obvious reasons. Now what makes this lab terrier mix’s story interesting is the fact that he would always his manipulation skills to stop his fur parent from leaving him.

Teemo would always sit by the front door whenever his owner would leave for work. He hates it whenever his owner would do that, so he would always do whatever he could to convince him to stay.

One of his antics involves putting on the most heart wrenching “sad puppy eyes” he could muster. If you’re a fur parent, you know what this looks like. You also know how arduous it is to leave whenever your pooch has this look on their face.

The charming pet-fluencer

The four-legged charmer’s owner set up a Facebook page for him in 2015. When a local news outlet shared the video of him doing the “sad puppy eyes” on his owner, his follower count grew instantly. He has over 4,000 followers as of writing, all eagerly looking forward to seeing photos and videos of him. Watch his adorable attempt at stopping his owner from leaving for work:

🐶:拔拔你今天還要上幫哦!🥺👨:今天要補班啊!乖~快點進去🐶:拔拔開車要小心哦!😁(麻麻還想著奇怪——這兩隻在車庫幹嘛?一個不趕快去上班、一個遲遲不肯進來!原來在依依不捨啦⋯😎😎😎
