This German Shepherd Can Play Different Games And Made Quarantine Fun For Her Parents

This German Shepherd Can Play Different Games And Made Quarantine Fun For Her Parents

Paquita Gillis March 8, 2021

A lot of people who were stuck at home during the quarantine found ways to amuse themselves by engaging in various activities online. Some took the time to catch up on their reading or made do-it-yourself home improvements. Others started new hobbies like planting, cooking, or learning new crafts.

In Cleveland, Ohio, a business owner who was 55 years old named Lori Knoble and her husband, John, turned to games to pass the time. They set out to play the classic Jenga game. Once Lori put up the tower, they started playing. Little did they know that their German Shepherd named Anya was watching them then casually joined the game.

They did not have to train her. She seemed to know the rules of the game and pulled out a block without causing the tower to topple over. Then she would put it down and wait for her opponent’s move.

The couple introduced her to other games like Tic Tac Toe, cards, KerPlunk, and even chess. Lori used treats for Tic Tac Toe, and Anya loved the game. She seemed adept at the different games, so Lori gave her treats whenever she won.

According to the couple, Anya had always been smart and observant ever since they got her from a reputable breeder when she was three months old. She was eager to help around the house. Anya could assist with the laundry, and bring small things like a remote control to Lori and John.

Anya took the time to play with her furry sisters, too. She was particularly playful with the kitten. She seemed to be more mischievous as she enticed the kitten with a string, pulled out the rug from under the kitten, or pull her crate.

There was definitely no boring moment with Anya. She made the lockdown not just bearable but fun.
