Protective Malamute Meets His Human Baby Ward, And It Didn’t Take Long Before They Bonded

Protective Malamute Meets His Human Baby Ward, And It Didn’t Take Long Before They Bonded

Paquita Gillis October 15, 2023

Have you ever heard a story so heartwarming it made you cry? Well, this is one of them.

Meet Teddy, the Malamute in this story. He was rescued as a pup from a shelter and quickly became part of his adoptive family.

In this video, he was eight months old when he met his 9-month-old ward, baby Amelia. Teddy is now a full-time guard to Amelia.

When baby Amelia was introduced to him for the first time, Teddy wasn’t sure what to make of her. Once he got used to having her around, he gladly accepted her and even began to shower her with affection!

Teddy has always been extremely patient when caring for Amelia – he would watch her while she peered curiously at everything around her,  showered, bathed, and slept. In fact, they have become such good friends that they can often be found snuggling together while taking naps.

The Siberian Husky will often act as a guardian angel for his little companion by barking whenever someone unfamiliar approaches their home or if he hears any suspicious sounds outside.

Teddy and Amelia’s friendship is truly something special – it’s one that transcends age and species barriers! It’s proof that unconditional love exists between all walks of life, and this dog and human baby are so lucky to have met each other. This pair shows us that no matter how different we may be from one another, we can still form strong bonds and learn to appreciate each other for our differences.

No matter how many times we hear stories like this one about Teddy and Amelia’s special connection, it never fails to warm our hearts! We hope that their special bond continues to bring joy into both of their lives for many more years to come!
