Clever Doggy Devises Strategic Retrieval Plan Without Getting Wet

Clever Doggy Devises Strategic Retrieval Plan Without Getting Wet

Paquita Gillis May 10, 2020

Everyone knows how smart our canine pals are. No matter how bad the situation is, dogs find a way to turn the tide in their favor.

Thus, let’s take a look at a particularly determined pooch trying to retrieve its tennis ball from a body of water without getting wet. By the looks of it, the dog attempts to employ some rules of physics to get back what it lost.

What shall I do?

In this exciting footage, an adorable, brown-furred dog stands on the grassy lawn. However, it seems something caught the pooch’s interest as it cannot take its gaze away from the body of water.

At first, you’ll think the dog’s merely pensively looking at the waters. But, if you take time to look closely, you’ll see that a green tennis ball floats on it.

By the looks of it, the dog played until it lost grip of the ball. Now that the ball inevitably fell on the water, the pooch carefully devises a plan on retrieving it without going into the water.

Hey, come over here.

Without further ado, the smart dog tries to create waves in the water by paddling its front paw on it. Perhaps, the pooch thinks that these waves bring the ball ashore.

Thus, for the next few seconds, the smart pooch vigorously paddles the water to create more waves. With each passing second, the dog bats the water more energetically, ultimately creating bigger waves. And, it seems the dog’s plan’s working as the ball starts bobbing towards the shore.

However, when the ball still didn’t float towards the dog’s direction, the pooch stopped pawing the water to think of another strategy. But, do you think the pooch’s next plan finally worked? You’ll only find out if you make sure to watch the video below until the end.
