Having three dogs would be quite a handful for other people. For James Ainscough, he truly loved his three Labradors with diverse personalities.
Three is not a crowd
Remy was James’ oldest Labrador. He got the dog when she was just a little puppy. Remy was like the matriarch; she would tell the other two what to do and when to do it. She was always a loud dog that got her way.
When Jams lost his first dog, Remy got depressed. Scooby was Remy’s best friend and meant the world to her.
Luckily, James was able to find Billy. Remy bonded with the new dog instantly like it was love at first sight.
Billy used to be in a family that wouldn’t care for him. James was quick to rescue him and take good care of the dog. Both Remy and Billy met a time where they both needed a friend.
Billy loves to be outside and running around, chasing squirrels and rabbits. He was the energetic one out of the three.
Then came Humphrey. Remy and Billy weren’t accepting him for the first two months but soon came around. Remy was first to take him into their pack. He was a really good dog but had a naughty side at times.
Humphrey was to one who loved going on car rides with James. He’d sit right next to him on the front seat and look completely contented to where he was.
The three dogs were a team. They would all equally give James evil eyes whenever they didn’t have their walk on time.
Remy’s fate
As Remy got older, she started having problems. The dog was in dire need of spinal surgery. Even so, she still wanted to tag along when going to the park.
Remy could walk all the way there, but going back home was the problem. James thought of putting her in a makeshift buggy with her bed to make her comfortable.
Even if James were the one that pulled the buggy, the two other dogs would be attached to it and walk side by side. Remy liked seeing her two brothers helping, and it made her more confident.
James says that he has nothing but love for his three beloved pets. He’d do anything to give them the best life that he can.
