Three Clever Dogs Work Together To Steal Food From The Kitchen Counter

Three Clever Dogs Work Together To Steal Food From The Kitchen Counter

Paquita Gillis July 17, 2022

Dogs are well-known for their intelligence. However, many dog owners are unaware that their pets may also be cunning (though this attribute has always been associated with cats). They also appear to collaborate and work well together.

This has been demonstrated by a trio of dogs. Their owner has captured a moment where they were working together to attain a shared goal: food!

Take a peek at these three cute dogs’ story.

Norwegian Line Fatland Froystad, who owns the Instagram account @funnybubbledogs, recorded the trio’s antics on camera. In the video, Harley and Henry, two Border Collies, assist Hugo, a Corgi, in reaching a plate of leftover food on the kitchen counter. By allowing the short-legged dog to stand on their backs, the two Border Collies are able to help him.

It’s unclear whether the clever act was rehearsed for entertainment purposes or if the dogs are performing spontaneously. This is because Froystad is a dog trainer, according to some reports.

Despite this, the video has made netizens happy. They’ve even posted comments on the video, complimenting the trio on how cute and funny they are.

The three dogs live together and spend a lot of time together, according to Froystad. Hugo stands out owing to his urge to perform like the Border Collies, despite the fact that the two other dogs are capable of running fast, jumping high, and stealing food from the counter.

What if your dog behaves similarly to Hugo, Harley, or Henry? If your dog has been stealing food, break the habit by calming him down and encouraging him to lie down.

You must also eliminate the opportunity, which means that the counter must always be swept clean, with no crumbs or little pieces of food left on the surface. Rather than yelling at your dog, teach him to leave and stay away from the spot. Reward him well with a treat if he obeys your orders.
