This Bearded Dog Will Make You Laugh Because Of His Grumpiness

Paquita Gillis December 8, 2021

Dogs are definitely nice and kind creatures. But they can be moody at times, especially when they’re hungry. If it’s any consolation, their moodiness sometimes makes them 10x cuter than they actually are.

A funny clip of a grumpy bearded dog has been making the rounds on social media recently. The hilarious video, which was originally shared by a Reddit user, just shows that the smallest pups are sometimes the feistiest ones. You don’t believe it? Well, just take a look at your Chihuahua or your friend’s Pomeranian!

Meet the grumpy dog

A 25-second video of a tiny yet moody dog had been uploaded to Reddit. But eventually, it permeated into other social media platforms. In the clip, you could see a woman carrying a dog sporting excess fur that surrounded his muzzle.

The long fur made the pooch look bearded. If you watched Dora the Explorer when you were a kid, this dog would remind you of the character called the Grumpy Old Troll.

However, what made the video much more adorable was the way the dog barked – he sounded like a chicken!

The online world had a good laugh

The video of the unnamed dog received more than 40K upvotes on Twitter. This post attracted lots of Redditors who then gave their funny comments.

One Reddit user said that the dog wasn’t actually a pup but a chicken wearing a dog costume. Another humorously remarked that the tiny canine was a dwarf who didn’t just shave in decades. A few users just dropped a heart emoji, showing that they adored the tiny dog.

One hinted that the dog was actually a wise hermit, probably because of the long beard. On the other hand, a Reddit user implied that the pup was an incarnation of Gruntilda from the video game series called Banjo-Kazooie. For the uninitiated, Gruntilda was a wicked witch that served as the game’s main antagonist.
