Savannah, A Dog From New Jersey, Has Become The First Dog In History To Walk Around The World

Paquita Gillis March 16, 2023

Tom Turcich, a man from New Jersey, adopted a dog named Savannah and took her on a walk around the world. They camped under the stars most nights and walked at least 18 miles a day. Tom and his dog walked through 38 countries across six continents.

The pair completed their journey after 7 years, making Tom the 10th person and Savannah the first canine on record to walk around the world. Now that their adventure is over, Tom said he’s writing a memoir about their journey while Savannah gets into the habit of walking at least 4 miles a day. Dogs are loyal and friendly to their owners.

Dogs are affectionate, intelligent, and calm creatures that can help you feel better when you’re upset. Pet owners can also agree that there’s nothing better than the warm, fuzzy feeling dogs bring. They are always really happy to see you and will want to do fun things with you.

They love you unconditionally, and their affection will never go away. They also want to be a part of your activities, and they want to spend as much time with you as possible. Dogs are playful and love getting out of the house to visit a dog park.

They’re also good for families with children because they teach kids about responsibility. Dogs are great companions, and kids will learn a lot about responsibility by raising one. Kids can also use dogs for playing fetch and petting, which builds better relationships.

Dogs love unconditionally, and they don’t judge you or make you feel bad about yourself. These animals will happily go for a long walk, play fetch, or even lay next to you while you enjoy a good book or watch TV. While owning a dog is just as much work as having any other pet, dogs give us more love than any other pet could ever give.
