Many Netizens Are Fascinated By This Dog’s Incredible Transformation

Most animal rescue organizations photograph dogs when they are being rescued. Most shelters want to see before and after photos of the pets they help, so this is a regular thing.

In a recent Reddit post, a member excitedly uploaded images of Tilly, a rescue dog. The first photo depicted the dog’s pre-rescue state, in which she looked like a living skeleton. The second photograph depicted how Tilly’s life had improved.

The dog was rescued by Dawg Fight Back Rescue. Tilly was visibly emaciated and bone-thin when she was rescued. The dog’s health verified the shelter’s suspicions that she had been neglected badly.

Tilly remained caring and sweet despite her condition. During the rescue attempt, the dog never showed any signs of aggression. In fact, she was quite welcoming and warm to her rescuers.

Tilly’s condition had improved in just four months. In comparison to her prior state, the dog appeared to be healthier and happier.

In the first photo, the dog was tough to recognize because she looks a whole lot better now than she did before.

However, the Reddit user claimed that the process was not without its share of bumps. This is because Tilly’s previous owners refused to release her to the rescuer at first. Tilly was eventually saved after the owners were reported to the local authorities for animal abuse.

The rescuers’ next task was to assist the dog in gaining weight. Tilly seemed to cooperate well with the rescuers’ meal plan, perhaps because she knew that it was going to do her good. As a result, the dog only needed four months to recuperate.

Tilly’s uplifting story did not end there, as the dog was eventually adopted after her recovery period. The dog is now thriving in her new environment, thanks to her new family that is providing her with all she needs.

Saw #Tilly trending and thought everyone had finally discovered my beautiful dog, but apparently it is trending because of *check notes* Tilly Ramsey? pic.twitter.com/N78EG1INAL
