Blind Shelter Dog That Had So Much Love To Give Now Lives In An Amazing Forever Home

Blind Shelter Dog That Had So Much Love To Give Now Lives In An Amazing Forever Home

Most dogs that get abandoned by their owners are often in terrible shape. Most are senior dogs that have medical conditions. Because of their age and deteriorating health, not many people want to adopt these dogs and they eventually end up getting euthanized.

In California, an 18-year-old Dachshund named Muneca was abandoned by her owners at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Muneca was blind and was left to die alone by her heartless owners. Alone and scared at an animal shelter, everyone knew that there’s little chance that someone would want to adopt Muneca.

Thankfully, a volunteer at the animal shelter named Elaine Seamans showed Muneca what it’s like to be loved. Elaine didn’t know what to expect but when Muneca jumped into her arms and clung to her, Elaine knew that Muneca just wanted a family that will love her. At that time, photography student named John Hwang witnessed the heartwarming moment between Elaine and Muneca.

John decided to take photos of Elaine and Muneca hugging and posted them on the internet. John’s heartwarming photos instantly went viral and were shared countless times. It didn’t really take long for the word to come out that Muneca needed a forever home.

The photos also reached a rescue group called Frosted Faces Foundation and acted swiftly to pull Muneca out of the kill shelter and find a family for her. It didn’t take long until Frosted Faces Foundation got several adoption applications from people all over the country.

Muneca eventually ended up with a woman named Amy Gann who was found to be the perfect family for Muneca. Now, Muneca is living the life that she deserved. She’s enjoying days out on the beach and she gets spoiled with lots of cuddles and treats from her new family. Here’s a heartwarming video featuring Muneca’s story.
