We humans often underestimate what dogs can do. Aside from being loyal to their humans, they also possess extraordinary abilities. One of which is their sixth sense.
Tony Dagnino started his day as normal. He’d been thinking about working on his Mazda for a while now, so today, he decided it’d be the quintessential time to do it.
After doing a thorough check on the hood, he then went under the car to take a closer look. That was when the incident happened. Unfortunately, the car slid off the jack stands, making the car’s weight fall on Tony.
The sudden impact shook him to his core. He couldn’t react at first, but when the adrenaline rush came, he immediately screamed for help. However, the only voice that came out was a soft and breathy sound.
Tony knew he didn’t have much time left. Nobody was around, and no one knows where he is. He tried screaming again but with no luck. Not until he heard loud barking – it was Root Beer, his neighbors’ dog.
The neighbors were confused as to why Root Beer was barking excessively. They never really see him as a noisy dog, so this time, it seemed like something was wrong.
When the neighbors followed where the boxer mix was barking at, they saw poor Tony trapped under his car. Root Beer’s family and the neighbors immediately moved hand in hand to lift the car so that Tony could slide out.
Once safe, they called 911 for assistance. Thankfully, Tony only had a broken collarbone and rib, nevertheless, he’s fine. If not for Root Beer’s sixth sense, he wouldn’t even be at the hospital at that moment.
Tony was beyond grateful for what happened. He wasn’t the biggest fan of dogs before, but now that Root Beer saved him, he’s definitely getting one.
