Pet Dog Goes Missing After A Car Accident, But He’s Able To Find His Family After Two Days

Some dogs go missing for various reasons. A few are unfortunately stolen while others have broken loose from their leash to run off somewhere. When one of these happens, the best that the dog owner could do is to hope that their furry pal will be back soon.

Some pups miraculously return, though! A dog named Tilly went missing after a vehicular scene in Idaho, United States. But two days after, he managed to reunite with his loving family!

Here’s Tilly’s amazing story.

The unfortunate incident

According to the account and press release of the police, Tilly ran off following a collision at the Rathdrum Prairie. Tilly’s family also shared a notice on Facebook.

In the said post, Linda Oswald, the dog’s owner, described the Tilly as a bashful reddish-brown male dog with some markings on his face; she also added a picture of Tilly for more visual information. Linda’s post received more than 3K shares and lots of hopeful comments.

Eventually, Tilly was found. Linda updated her notice on Facebook by announcing that Tilly was rescued near Meyer Road. Additionally, the dog was reportedly seen on a farm close to the place of the accident.

People are relieved upon hearing the reunion

When the news about how Tilly went missing broke out, people close to the Oswalds and even kind strangers offered comforting and reassuring words. But when Tilly was found, a lot were relieved upon hearing the update.

One commented that reading the news made her day. Another said that it was amazing how such a little pup could bring so much joy into people’s lives, probably harping on the dog’s miraculous return. A third Facebook user commented that the update warmed her heart.

Another commenter focused on how resilient dogs were. She was amazed at how Tilly found a place where he could be safe while waiting for his rescuers.
